Under the marquee wedding at Forest & Stream Club | Montreal
People! I am so excited to share Ariane and Ian’s wedding with you today, which could have seriously been featured (and very well may be in the future) in ANY bridal magazine across the world. These two have impeccable taste, to the point where I cannot even describe how perfect every single detail was. It’s a good thing I’m a photographer, then, yeah?
From the insanely gorgeous centerpieces to the magnificent lightings, there wasn’t a thing that wasn’t thought of and carefully planned (Thanks to the Fou d’amour planning team). And when I saw Ariane in her wedding dress, I almost lost my breath! (Can’t even imagine how Ian must have felt seeing her during the first look)! I asked her about where the gown came from and she said, “Its a dress I found at Willowby by Watters.” The bride loved the color of the dress and I cannot agree more with her choice WOW, who would not ?!
What a joy it was to photograph you two on this special day. I hope your future will be full of happiness, light and just as much beauty!

The wedding day began with preparation at the Omni hotel in downtown Montreal… Ariane had an amazing team to curl her hair, and do her makeup. But can we please have a moment of silence for THAT DRESS?!
Ariane had a suite on the 22 floor of the Omni hotel, which provided the most stunning view and the perfect light for wedding preparations…
A champagne colored wedding dress? Yes, please.
The bride was lucky enough to have her mom who helped her every step of the way…
Ariane rocked this bridal portrait like a professional.
Ian hung out with his parents as they prepared in their suite at the Omni Hotel… The groom looked extraordinarily dapper in his blue suit!

The couple enjoyed a few quiet moments together before the ceremony…
I loved the way Ian gazed at his bride…
Ian and Ariane live in New York city, so they wanted to take their portraits in an area that got a urban vibe– so the Old Montreal was the perfect spot!
The happy couple strolled through the streets of Montreal… It was a beautifully warm day in Montreal and the light was juuuuust perfect…

The wedding was hosted at Forest & Stream private club and served as a perfect backdrop to a stunning day.

… and the best part is that her dad looks just as happy!
The groom was beyond happy to see his stunning bride…
Riverfront wedding dreams in Montreal… 
It was a charming and heartfelt wedding ceremony until…
… dark clouds came troubling the celebrations…
So every guests were invited to come inside the venue to finish the jewish ceremony.
Oh happy day !

In Montreal, storms doesnt usually last very long so we were lucky to enjoy an outdoor cocktail hour…
Adjacent to the Forest & Stream Club was an elegant marquee, which made a perfect location to dance the night away. Ariane worked hard at planning her wedding from New York city and the team at Fou d’amour ensured her vision was intact by the time the guests were seated…
Strung lights? Check. Climatised marquee reception? Check. French Canadian perfection? Check and check.
Beauty, beauty everywhere…the Forest and Stream Private Club was a perfect backdrop for a wedding…
The couple’s first dance…
The perfect night was made more perfect with amazingly heartfelt speeches…

As the sun set in Montreal, Saint-Laurence shores served as the perfect location for some last minute wedding photos…
Everyone enjoyed the traditional Hora…
I’ll end on this happy note because the newly minted couple ended the night with a beautiful sparklers exit.
